Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan training in Baguio City photo

The training camp for WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao continues to press on as the two fighters gear up for their respective bouts. Khan faces off with undefeated Paul McCloskey on April 16th at the M.E.N. arena in Manchester while Pacquiao defends his WBO welterweight crown against Shane Mosley in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 7th.

The two fighters are both trained by renown Freddie Roach and have developed a great bond with one another ever since Khan joined the Wild Card stable shortly after his devastating knockout loss to Breidis Prescott in September of 2008. Roach is dividing his time with the star fighters and says that he will break camp to attend Khan's clash before returning home to Los Angeles to finish up his training with Pacquiao.

Khan and Pacquiao are two of the most gifted athletes in the sport and there have been whispers of Amir moving up in weight later this year. For his part Khan has stated that he will never face Pacquiao inside of the ring because he is too dear of a friend and seems content with a summer showdown with WBC champion Timothy Bradley if successful against McCloskey.
